Sorry to hear about the incident (glad that you're okay!), and as I sit here on the front porch sipping on a mint julep and daydreaming about "The Derby" I recall simpler days when you could walk (hot pants optional) after work without some two-bit scoundrel stealing your cash. As for me, I've never been mugged, but like many of us, the closest that I've come involves having folks on the street aggressively try to sell me some giant "gold" chains.

yes, I indeed was mugged once... Funny story, also a true one... My friends walked about half way down the street... then turned and watched for a moment before yelling "What the hell are you doing? We are going to be late." Apparently, this guy with toilet paper wrapped around his bleeding hand, who was about two inches away from my face, holding a knife, must have looked like he was just asking me the time.
