The best marksman beginner gun I've found is the 7.1 (Extra, EXTRA long) Dragon at $80 from Redwolf - this thing is really long, a bit awkward, but can repeatedly snipe headshots on the run! My first time with one gave me 5 headshots in 4 seconds while running at a distance of about 10-13 meters.

The two WE don't shoot exactly the same - anyone who is a pistol fanatic will notice the 5.1 has a slight (just a few inches) tighter grouping in sensitive hands because the partial slide reduces the recoil at ranges past 10 meters. This way I'm hitting the center of a friend's mask instead of the side, eye or ear.

@SofterThanAir it depends on where you live & whether you can get the CO2 capsuals but i can tell you it is very powerful (For an airsoft gun) al close range you wouldnt know the difference from an AEG, & the Glock structure makes it unique & rather different from the 1911 norm

@589h Depends are you going to play outdoor field where biodegradable bbs are a need or are you playings indoors? I think .28 is the highest bio they make but you dont need anything past .28 until 430 fps because even a .28 fired out of a 375 aeg will fly straighter then a .2 cause its heavier so id reccomend a .25 bio bb

First off, FPS and power are synonymous, so listing them as separate categories is invalid. In any case, any skirmishable GBB will produce around ~1J of energy, so that's not a deciding factor at all.

If budget was such a huge factor, any airsoft pistol over $100 wouldn't have a target market at all.

The most important aspects of buying a GBB is functional consistency and quality of craftsmanship.

Please actually know your shit if you intend to sound like you do.

I like the KWC SW40 Model C02 blowback because it's cheap and CO2 capsules are very cheap and usually last a long time but the FPS limit for my local site is 350 so I would have to downgrade it and also it's black and I live in the UK without a UKARA license so I would need it two-toning and shipping to the UK would no doubt be very expensive so this gun would be like double the price and therefore I should just get a HFC HA190 or something they're £80 and look good.

@sockschappercat The KJW was made when pot metal was still used by KJW; do not buy it. If you are going to get either of the WE's I recommend that you replace the fill valves because the stock ones leak. Also make sure that you receive a caspian (aluminum) version. Those are more durable then the old pot metal versions. As for 1911 or 5.1 I recommend the 5.1 over the 1911. The 5.1 has more aftermarket parts compatibility and greater capacity of projectiles and gas.Best choice is to wait for SRC
