Mark is the reason i became a musican .... these lyrics ftit my life except my mom said those prayers can you hear let me take her place somehow i was born 2 mos early in 1985 with 17 plus surgerys and a lifetime of hospitaizations my first love turned me on to marks music and its saved my life and now i am a great pianest who only uses 1 hand - mark only uses thr black keys i use 1 hand thank you for your music mark its changed my life for ever!!!

The first time that I heard this song I balled. I grew up a very troubled child with severe anger issues.. My mom beeing the Christian woman stayed on her knees praying for me. Because of her prayers is why i am still here now or not incarcerated. This was our song. She passed this last july, And This song will always be for her
