@Spid0rMuffinz Yes. Yes it does. Which part of Scotland are you from? New York? Madrid? Moscow? Im from the Australian part of Scotland. Nice place but sweet jesus the spiders are scary.
@freecooper2008 Hi you can buy the DVD from most online retailers such as amazon.co.uk or play.com, but if you live outside the UK you have to make sure you have a multi-regional DVD player.
As Billy Connolly would say, "This is ggrrreat!" Thank you for uploading. I am really taken with Billy Connolly and want to know more about him. I am a Scottish/American.
@FaroutGamer then why do we call him Scotland's favourite son? He is damn Scottish, hes just old and the winters are hard for old people here, he just fancies a bit of sun for once lol
I don't know if I'm the only one that enjoys it, but each time I hear Billy playing the Appalachian Harp, it always seems to have a peaceful, warm and relaxing sound, especially in the piece of music he plays @ 1:40 - 2:00
It would be awesome if someone could upload some of Billy's folk & instrumental music for people to enjoy as well as his comedy :)
Thank you for uploading and sharing these videos :)
That'd be awesome, and thank you for correcting me on the name of the song because I wasn't sure of the name of tha piece of music, but I'm not surprised that it's got Waltz in the title because it's played with a waltz rhythm.
The thing I like about Billy Connolly is that he's a top class entertainer, not just his stand up comedy and acting, but also his music on the banjo and autoharp.
Thank you very much good sir and you have now got a new subscriber B-)
@thebillitv...The theme music to this series is called "Banjoland". The incidental music at the beginning when Billy is talking is called "The Islands Theme". You can buy the soundtrack to this series on CD although I think its quite a rare find. I bought it as an Australian import several years ago. Its called "Billy Connolly Musical Tour of Scotland" (ASIN: B000026OEB).
@TailzAndCaza Well its all good to say you love the Scottish countryside when you know you have a mansion in LA to come home to. Dispute this he is one of my top comedians, I was just stating that he isn't as Scottish as people make him out to be.
These videos of the world tour o Scotland are great;) Billy is the man, and combined with a tour of my favourite country, it doesnae really get any better
gosh ive been waiting for some1 to upload this here, i have only heard about this tour, been looking it from internet for ages. thx bouncer for uploading these wee videos.
@thebillitv There is a video here on youtube with that tune, and it is called "Billy Connolly - Banjoland" as a title... so I think the tune is called "Banjoland"...
Thanks so much - I like Connolly almost as much as I loved Scotland.
