hi can someone explane me this...i just bought a lipo batt turnigy nanotec 1000mah 7.4v,and when i tried to fly my ufly it vibrates alot when throttle 25%,a lot i mean u cant fly it.and with the stock batt 800 it vibrates a little bit that u can fly normally.what is causing this problem?
The output of the new battery is probably higher giving you higher headspeed which is causing your increased vibration. I would take the mainblades off and tail blades off and see if the heli still vibrates. Then install the tail blades and check for vibs. Last mount the main blades and check again. Have you crashed it? Bent mainshaft or head block? It should spin up really smooth in your hands.
Hey DK, quick question, based on earlier comments it appears you are using 3d carbon fiber paddles from another one of your heli's but are they painted? I couldn't find any the same color as yours?
I LIKE YOUR FLYING .hope to be at your skill level as soon humanly possible...Does this copter fly like the new up graded exceed falcon? seems to be same demensions...Also i see the ufly comes in an " S" version now(Auto stabilzation) ..Anyone know if its a good copter,better or worse then this version...also i heard gear breaks easy if tail hits anythung is this true or nonsense...thanks and great flying
The UflyS is a really nice FP heli. Easy to learn on and stable in the air. The tail gyro is much better than the original. The tail is pretty durable but you do have to be careful not to bind up the blades in long grass. I have no idea about the falcon.

Nice flying dkfuji.. I just orderd the ufly and the 4G6 receiver. I cant seem to locate the plugs you talk about having to convert, do you have a link?? Also what ESC did you change to? If I go with a Scorpion motor I'd like to also use the Scorpion ESC any idea if it will work with the 4G6 receiver?
Yeah the Scorpion motor is nice but the new 2S motor Wow is building is better for this heli. I would wait and get the upgraded 2s (or 3s) motor for this heli when they are available. The plugs were made by myself but they will also be available from Wow shortly. The ESC is the Feigao 18a from Wow as well. I believe any ESC will work with the 4G6 Rx.

Yes I believe it is. In stock form it is really stable and is a very relaxed flyer. Most of the time I have a pavement skip in my vids so the guys all want to see one somewhere along the way. So I added one with this heli. Its got to be responsive to pull it off though. LOL.

The paddles in the video are actually from the Outrage G5 CP heli and a Trex450 flybar. You can also use the Axe CP paddles as well.

The Rx runs off the BEC on the ESC. The stock Rx will handle the 5v.

No the upgrades are not too hard to do. The hardest part is the conversion plugs for the servos and ESC.
