Thank you kindly for this video, i have watched and re-watched it many times. It has inspired me to visit Myanmar for my first ever time. I have booked the balloon tour and now i am counting the days down. I will visit Inli to see the fishermen, and i will go to Mandalay to see the big Teak bridge. Burma lokks so beautifull.
I've posted four brief (2:37) slideshows from my 2008 trip to Burma covering Rangoon (Yangon), Mandalay area, Pagan (Bagan), and Inle Lake. Each, with 50 photos, is under the title "50Fotos." Click on my name to get to my channel.
Nice film...some indigenous Shan or Kachin folk music as background would have been a better selection, but hey? It's nice anyway...just some feedback...in essence the film and the indigenous cultures of Burma are (thankfully) almost devoid of western commercialism - so why have you branded the entire film with a "Flying Monks" logo in the centre bottom right of the vid? You are capitalising on indigenous and traditional cultures for your own commercial gain and notoriety of your own brand. STOP
I am going to Burma as a tourist to visit the people and let them know that they are not alone in this cruel world. Many world powers have kiled hundreds of millions of fellow humans over the last century but we still buy their goods and watch their movies and visit their countries as tourists. Burmese people need not be isolated. Military powers control the world around us.
The brutal military regime in Burma uses the money it earns from tourism to maintain its stranglehold over the population. You can help to destabilise the regime if you deny them this support. Please do not travel in Burma. Foreign travel companies must be held accountable when they encourage foreigners to go to Burma. Please do NOT support these companies. Please contact YouTube and urge them to remove these videos.
Sorry brother, I will tell you what. Pls don't tell do not visit to Burma. Regardless of the military junta, we have to intro our traditions, cultures, ethnic costums and landscapes to the world.
Every foreign county's foreign policy (actually all policies) should be aim at human right as highest main concern. Shamefully, China, India and a few other neighbors are still not able to support the truth and democracy because they would not make so much ILLEGALE MONEY with open minded educated people and government. I am not sure whether you are even an Indian or other foreigner but I need your help to tell the world that Burma only has one rebel murder group.
I will always love Burma, my second home. After living here for 5 years. Knowing, accepting and loving the people has led me to rediscover myself. I consider Burma as my sanctuary. It's just a pity that this country was plunged into poverty because of economic mismanagement. Once touted as the most prosperous nation in ASIA but will always be undoubtedly the richest country in the ASEAN region. I will always have a heart for Burma. Thank you, Burma.
I agree 100% Myanmar has become my second home and the people my family! I have never felt so at home other than with my Myanmar family. They may be poor in terms of riches but they are rich in love and generosity:)
Successful,People's Revolution in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya -one day Burma. God Willing.

Please sign! *A Petition To Request U.N Troops To Move In
To: U.N Security Council
For U.N to send its troops in Burma instead of urging the junta to hold peaceful negotiations.
Takes 30 seconds just go to my public channel to see how. It's very easy. Thanks.
