  • lol whenever I sit in buisness class, I could always hear the noise made when the pilot turns off the autopilot.

  • slower rates of climb are more comfortable for passenger

  • I got hungry :(

  • Buissness Class is soo cool :D What a coffee !

  • Boy!...this is a great video. I can tell who ever made this LOVES Aviation, as do I This stuff is like Food for fans of aviation. You show all the right stuff Thank you again! :)

  • I've had sorry experience with most on-flight meals, but this menu looked pretty damn good!

  • @deetjay1 haha i once had Arby's on a delta flight or Harvey's! i am Canadian so i can;t remember which fast food is not in US. which ever one of the 2 is available in Us than thats what we had. lol

  • I like CFIT-approaches in Malaysia :-))) thxs. very thrilling ;-)

  • WOW A OWN COOK ON BORD :-)

  • Wait which airport is that at 4.17 ?? they look like Qantas planes, it cant be JFK... that actually looks like Melbourne International Airport.... yet Tullamarine only has one runway 16.

  • @rhettski999 i believe it is sydney.

  • @rhettski999, @britishairwayspilot1 is right, it is Sydney (YSSY): it does have a 16R with a crossing rwy 07/25 (you can see it at 4:41, on the right). Ciao!

  • geez this must have been a few years ago now, thats an Ansett (bankrupt since 2001) 743 or 744, can't see the winglets clearly enough. wow

  • awsome vid ,,, FS2004 777 identical cockpit ,,,shame i cant land it as smoothly as that ,,, good job lads

  • 0:55, Look at how big those contrails are of that 747 !!

  • I was amazed to see how much flaps this plane used departing from Sydney. That's a lot of drag.

  • 777 so awesome aircraft Ilove this kitchen ....I have been flying hundreds of hours buss. or economy class on different airlines over Atlantic's or over EU or other countries I never see such on board air food

  • At 1.13 it's clearly an SSB communications. You can feel the frequency shift of the voice... Great!

  • GReattttt

  • 747 in cross traffic just so awesome

  • Sounds like Arnold Schwartznegger lol

  • great approach and landing in SYD, the take off was nice to,flew real close to home ,as I live in Randwick.

  • at 00:02, the speed thing.. 320 --> is it knots/kph or mph?

  • @nicky7789 320 knots !! but that the airspeed !! is not the ground speed!!

  • @nicky7789 320 knots !! indicated airspeed !! not ground speed

  • @nicky7789 That is in Knots planes calculate there speeds in Knots only

  • the flaps for takeoff are put at 20, right?

  • PIA A310 at 0:45.

  • was the altitude at 180,000 ft or 18,000 ft :D sorry guys im nooob :D

  • where can i buy these video in the country of chile (south america)??

  • @benjaph on our website

  • how many captains and f/os would be on flight that long?

  • This is cool..I didn't know that Austrian had direct flights to Australia

  • I always find it hard to land at night... btw.. im doing on the Microsoft Flight sim only... not a real pilot... hahah.. nice to see videos like this...

  • great video.

    check out my videos

  • This is a fantastic video on the 777. I also like the food part.

  • Great video my favorite so far that i've seen in the series. I especially liked the food part:)) good combination of everything. Nice Austrian flight attendants. Would love to go to Australia one day, but isn't Austrian quite an expensive airline?

  • @sakusia This airline isn't from Australia! Its from Austria in Central Europe!

  • the times of big paychecks, hot flight attendants and great food..... :'(

  • holy hell 320 at FL170, they really need to get somewhere, what is the SELCAL because I hear the selcal check?

  • Love the 777 i really would love, to fly on board one. That dinner looked so tasty now i know, i must get on board the 777. Question: When do the pilots reduce power to claim speed after takeoff?... what is the power setting and, @ what altitude do they set it. Nice video it's very informative.

  • @mrgothere It depends on the NADP requirements for noise abatement. In most cases thrust reduction to climb thrust is at 1500 ft AGL. But thrust reduction can also occur at flaps 5 retraction (for example a B777 at flaps 15 takeoff could choose to accel at 1000 AGL and reduce thrust when they reach flap 5 retraction spd). Power setting is listed on the FMC as Climb 1 or Climb 2, with climb 1 being the stronger powered thrust for the N1 or EPR, depending on engine type.

  • im a cinamatographer in search of a job and i love planes i wana work for these guys at justplanes!!!

  • I loved watching that

  • does austria serve sydney with their own airplanes? cool

  • the 777 is the best plane ever made

  • you better believe it :p

  • I cannot agree with you more it is an awesome aircraft, I love the shape, the class, the engines Rolls Royce or GE, just everything about his plane is the best! Thanks for you comment

  • I agree!Simply the best!

  • that looks good the dinner at the end off the movie

  • That's cool..! A chef on the Plane...! The food looks tasty...! I like the B-777..!

  • @pimenton73 has nothing to do with the 777 itself.. its a service of austrian airlines on business class on their wide bodies;)

  • Incredible machine, the 777.

  • 777 were put into production in 1994. So therefore 15 years in service. I fly 777-200ER

  • minimums

  • The oldest 777-200 ER of Austrian Airlines is OE-LPA (May 2005).They have 4 Boeing 777-200 ER (OE-LPA, OE-LPB, OE-LPC, OE-LPD).Last 777 was bought in January 2007. So the average age of the 777-200 ER fleet is 4 years.

  • The guy on the radio sounded like an Ewok from Star Wars.

  • Wow, you are right ! that is some serious contrailling!! ..Man it has to be friggin colder than normal (at high alts.) for that intensity !..

  • its normal the pilot active reverse speed before the anterior gear touch the ground? or u must wait when the complete touchdown?

  • if im not wrong, you can apply reverse thrust as soon as the main gear, in this case the 12 wheels under the wings of the T7, touch the tarmac.

  • Yes its normal. Thats just so the plane gets of the runway as soon as possible and less of the risk the plane will overun the runway.

  • i didnt know that austrian fly to sydney

  • not anymore

  • they dont do it anymore since 2007 caused by financial problems

  • they did, not anymore

  • Night landing is amazing

  • in the beginning what's that stuff coming out of the engines???

  • Fuel Vapour

  • Contrails...or vapour trails are visible trails of condensed water vapour made by the exhaust of aircraft engines. As the hot exhaust gases cool in the surrounding air they may precipitate a cloud of microscopic water droplets. If the air is cold enough, this trail will comprise tiny ice crystals.

  • 0:52 looks amazing!!

  • At 5:00 Whats the Flap setting? Seems to be quite alot for T/O!

  • With Boeing is possible to land with 3 configurations, but at 5:00 is a T/O.

  • It's indeed a lot. But ahlanii is right;) The more flaps the more lift. In case of e.g. a short rwy they can use more flaps;)

  • they use less rwy with more flaps and slats , much better lift vector

  • 10 I guess. They are full of fuel they have to.

  • It's flaps 10 that's normal flaps setting for the triple 7

  • I thought it was 5. There is no 10 deg. setting.

  • Is that Ansett Australia at 0:21?

  • I definately want to fly with austrian airlines now!

  • best women on the planet

  • lol...right into the soup at minimums

  • that´s what I call a LIT UP runway, hehehehe.... nice video!!!

    :D

  • that's a good lookin' aircraft!

  • there are some good pilots at Austrian! if you look at those soft landings!!

  • I LOVE ME SOME 777'S....absolutely the most gorgeous plane in the sky!!

-- thats some serious first class service right there--

  • I've been in a few myself, not flying ofc, but the seat configuration is wierd, its nearly impossible to see over the top of the displays. But obviously you can extend the chairs, but its a lot easier to see in the Airbus models in my opinion. Nontheless, its a great plane internally.

  • the avionic displays are so beautiful

  • wow that was a soft landing

  • wow an onboard chef, never seen that before.

  • I have done this route in exactlly the same aircraft.

    Vienna - Kuala Lumper.

    Cool vid keep them commin.

  • The voice of ATC sounds like computer.

  • the triple seven is the best aircraft in the sky today...in my opinion. loved the video. thanks for uploading!

  • i love to see how the planes pass. when u are in flight u never realize that the plane actually travels so fast

  • at 5:30 it looks like a windy take-off

  • Really, really cool video.

  • wow amazing landing

  • everything looks cool in that plane

  • OMG! CHEMTRAILS!

  • there called vapor trails from the planes hot exhaust hitting cold air

  • Actually..they're called "contrails" Short for condensation. A visible condensation of water droplets or ice crystals from the atmosphere, occurring in the wake of an aircraft, rocket, or missile under certain conditions

  • the airbus looks like he has contrails and the 747 looks like he has vapor trails

  • @shortkid97 . . . They're called Contrails. -_-

  • I definately know what plane im going to take when going to vienna

  • the younger captain was one of my flying instructors :)

  • COOL!!!

  • ahaha "Today In business class we have Austrian 5 Star Chef Wolfgang Schmidt and In Economy Class Chef Boyardee"

  • the food looks really good. lovely plane the 777. great vid thanks

  • 6:12

Onbord chef, the finest food up there...

  • yeah, thats nice

  • it's really a nice video! I did the same flight two years ago! Now I understand which are the differences between first and second class! Obviously I was in the business class! Austrian is a good company! I can recommend you it!

  • nice video.. @ 1:50 the ATC Vioce sounds funny xD.. (Austrian 1 Austrian 1..) :D

  • ought,so nice landings!very good VERY GOOD

  • can i buy this dvd in an shop in austria??

  • is there somewhere where you can buy these dvds in the united kindom

  • There are shops in the UK that sell our DVDs. Contact us by email for details...

  • there is a shop at heathrow airport near runway 9R/27L

  • Is this safe all these planes flying next to each other?

  • with todays technologie, it's safe

  • TCAS is a cool thing, search it on wikipedia

  • super video, danke für den upload.

    mfg

  • nice nteresting video!!! :-)

  • LOL, listen to part 1:11, sounds like a Star Wars voice. cool!

  • Great work! nice Video

Its so boring that Austrian don´t fly to Australia any more.

  • Well done! I meant the beef was well done. Just kidding. Seriously, I love the video and I'm buying it for my collections. I hope to see Philippine Airlines someday. Thanks!

  • welcome to kuala lumpur austrian 1! :)

  • Is the cameraman a passenger? If he/she is, it is interesting how he/she gained access to explanations and the cockpit. The crew seems to be very nice. BTW that is little food, I would love to eat a Mignon steak with sauteed potatoes and red wine or cider.

  • very interesting

  • javkin's right!!!seems unusual tho I thought trim made up for it...guess 25 is needed sometimes.

  • Where is the landing at 2:31?

  • Kuala Lumpur

  • At 05.08min at take off, they selected flaps 25 i think. Why so much??? Are they that heavy or is it because of the warm wheater.

  • heavy cargo and pax, or short runway.

  • nice!!

  • Very good production well done just planes any chance of Finnair next please?

  • ooohhhh i was waiting this one for a long long time... thanks!! im thinking on buying it.. its just im not decided yet..
