What Does Hugging Really Mean In The Dog World?

Domesticated dogs have adjusted to some things, though. A human smile would usually be hostile to a dog, because we're showing our teeth, but they have come to unterstand that it's a friendly gesture. Same with hugging, they have learned that it's a form of cuddling, and dogs love to cuddle. Our dogs loved hugs. Of course, we've never smothered their heads the way this guy does.

Not all dogs consider hugging as hostile or trying to fight at all... I've seen proof of that being bullshit myself infront of my eyes...

How do I teach my dog not to overrreact with to the veterinarian. My dog absolutely hates to have strangers put their hands on him- and he reacts with all the violence and aggression  he can muster, no matter what I say to him. It's very hard for me to convince him that he has the wrong idea about the situation. In fact- I have not been able to do that.

My dog loves hugs. When she was a puppy, she saw me hugging my mom, and now, whenever she sees me, she will try to put her paws around me to give me a hug and I will give her one and she gets all excited and her tail wags and she looks like she is smiling.
