I'd settle for WoTLK and earlier released packs. I joined during WoTLK, and I had so much fun in it. It was so versatile, so immersive, and Cataclysm has killed it I think. I have had about enough with all this "Gear" crap, and would like to just get back to the essentials, the things that used to make WoW fun. Instead, we got more stuff. PvP being unbalanced, and a bunch of other stuff listed in comments below.

With all those junk private servers with 10- players, that i rly dont know why some bothers keeping active, i srsly wonder why someone doesnt make a GOOD, no.. PERFECT vanilla private server, im certain it would score 1k players the least. Just listening to this makes me want to go back and play WoW again, the only thing that is stopping me is the death of the game itself. After spending basically 9 months inside of Icecrown Citadel, managing to kill the Lich King on 25M heroic during the last week, really felt like an accomplishment. Now, well, when I used to log in back in December - April, I felt empty inside. The game had lost its appeal, nothing was as fun as it used to be. On top of that, everything is changed. The game has a lot of extremely great content but, like all MMOs, there's a lot of repetition to extend the value. I just don't want to slog through hours and hours of the same thing over and over just to experience a few snippets of greatness here and there.

God damnit discovering all that WoW had to offer was so awesome, and the atmosphere was so cool! However with time the game has lost its unique feeling, everything feels the same. I started in 2006 and I have had so much fun while I never really got good endgame or in PvP, just leveling some, playing some arena, do a raid once a month and some heroic :P.

The tavern music has to be some of the best music in WOW. I haven't played actively in a few months, and, boy, these tracks sure do bring back memories and the desire to roam Azeroth once again. There's just a timeless quality to this music that draws you in.

@THEFINALHAZARD I play on the Farstriders server. We go on raids, and we also have guild events for everyone where we play our characters and then we go dance on tables at the inn after drinking so much our screens get blurry LOL.
