Nowitzki is not the best because there's no clear best any more. With Kobe falling off it's a toss up. Music companies are the ones who decided what type of sound the band will have and that is dependent upon the audience they're targeting. People don't buy based on quality but on what stimulates their mind. The majority of people do not care about music enough to search for it so they listen to whatever is on the radio. This limits their knowledge of greater artists.
