Your First Amendment rights entitle you to practice whatever religion you choose, and they protect you from being prosecuted for speaking your mind, i.e. criticizing the government, or telling off-color jokes, as S. Silverman often does.

Patton Oswalt explained once why comics hate this. If you're going on tour with a set of fresh jokes, you don't want the audience to have heard them ALL already because someone took a poor quality video and posted it all over youtube. It's hard to get genuine reactions if the audience is thinking "Duh I already heard this except it was funnier when my sight was all grainy!"
I once took frank sinatra's picture while he was singing in a concert and the flash went off and he looked like he was going to freak out but he was in the middle of a song so he didn't do anything but give me a look that could kill. You paid to get in to see her show, which means you paid to see her show once, not over and over, and share with all your friends. Comedians have a hard enough time making money without people stealing their shows and putting them on youtube, which is why you tube has a copy write policy.
