This motors were set up to work only a couple of laps. Just for the qualify! These engines used petrol even for the cooling. Just read some books about bmw- or formula one history.

BMW's engine produced 1200 hp allright but the Champions McLaren-Tag Porsche engines were putting out 1300 hp!!!
