  • Looks neat, I wouldnt mind building a small z layout, but I just checked and ONE 26" piece of flex track in Z is $13 !! The loco's and rolling stock are EXPENSIVE as well. Also, there's not much in stock right now.

  • Z scale looks so cool! much more natural then other scales.

  • I could NEVER do Z scale!

  • Imagine Z scale trains with Lionel Legacy!

  • spañol

  • It's... ADORABLE :3

  • Who click on "don't like"?????

It's a very good video and a great (smal) layout.

    Thank you André

  • N scale????

  • @carvel1000 No... Z Scale/gauge.

  • @carvel1000 : Yup, definitely Z scale. I saw this layout at the LaCrosse show this year (2011) and talked with the lady. She said that they used to run N scale but now that you can get more and better bits and accessories for Z they switched. I have to say that while I don't remember what's different exactly from this video to what I saw this year... I know that this layout looks even better than what you see in the video.

  • Z scale is awesome now that they offer more realistic stuff. You can really do a lot in a room no bigger than 6 x 8.

  • No, don't apologize! Great footage.

  • It looks so much like N Scale

  • great video, unfortunately i was gifted with large hands so i think i will have to stick with my o scale stuff..lol

  • Just wondering... do any Z scale locomotives have space for sound speakers inside of them?

  • I do not know. Doesn't seem possible.

  • @rhbeadlejr the chinese always find a way

  • @rhbeadlejr You'd be surprised how small they can make speakers there days...it'd probably be a really tinny speaker without much volume, but I'm sure it;'s possible...

  • no they're way too small... You have to stick with N-scale if you want sound :/

  • yes you can just have to get pezos and very small speakers which will be very very dim for sound and not that great of sound lol but it is possible.

  • Huh.

  • yes it is possible with crappy small speakers lol

  • @spazman13579 I don't think so, but I was also thinking about that. If you really have your mind set on sound, I was thinking maybe you could put a 3/8th" speaker (made by Soundtraxx) into a boxcar and just run wires from the loco to the boxcar. Hope this would help.

  • @spazman13579 maybe mobilephone speakers fit, but i dont know
