Yeah, I was actually trained by Landmark Education that if a guest says "no" to the question "Do you want to register for this course?" you honor the "no" and say "Thank you" and walk away. That being said, I apologize on behalf of my company (that I am just crazy about) for your experience being one of "high pressure.".Vanda
I met the most amazing people in Landmark Education. People organizing events and associations to help all types of people/animals/situations. People really really living - I was so excited! And also I love the philosophy that "nothing is wrong and everything is possible"!
Hi! I just participated in the Landmark forum last weekend and it is a scam. They use common high pressure sales and persuasive sales techniques to get you to not only open your wallet but the wallets of everyone that you know. Stay away! I would suggest that you read a book about cults and pyramid schemes before you go, you will see right through it.
I have done the Landmark Forum Course. (So has three family members and several frinds.) About selling/pressure sales. If you do not want to buy a course/a program, say no. If you dont want to discuss it more, tell them not to bring it up again and not to call/contact you about it. It is that easy. They shall respect that. If someone at Landmark do not respect that, immediately talk to the executive at the office.
Maybe this is a lessons you need to learn in life: to communicate no clearly.
I would like to observe that The Forum experience in no way resembles any of the so-called cults Ive read about. /---/ The Forum, in my personal opinion does not remotly resemble a cult and it puzzles me that any responsible person could think that it does. -Raymond Fowler, former Chief Executive Officer of the American Psychological Association, and professor emeritus of the University of Alabama, 2/22/95 (from a study at Harvard Business School / 9-898-081) (I recommend to read the study!)

Bannend in one-party-states like Arab countries and China?? That would not surpise me at all!!!
See above the quotation attributed to Raymond Fowler.
I recommend you to read the Harvard Business School study. I think it is a very interesting and impressive read. Yes, Harvard Business School!! And Landmark Educations programs have been the subjects of several other independent research studies. The list of INTEPENDENT studies can be found at Landmarkeducation[.]com.

He seems jazzed about some real powerful stuff. How awesome is it that he's taken ownership of his word and created new possibilities for himself.
