Its a great tree called a Robinia - beautiful in all seasons, with sweet smelling flowers in late spring. A favourite with the cats - they climb high up and survey their domain :)
A delight to watch along with my favourite music. Isn´t wonderful to see new life in the buds and flowers. Autumn here has added a smile to my heart as i watch all the deciduous trees bring their gorgeous colours to the wildwoods.
I'm with you there - spring's promise gets us going in the year, and autumn's rewards so welcome - promising rest in winter - the garden's rhythms teach so much :)
Similar to? gardens, since I was a child I've always been fascinated by the erosion process. I used to make piles of dirt and pour a little stream of water on the top and watch as the water made its path, cutting through the dirt. I suppose if they made some type of device (a water garden?), I would have one.
Not sure why I was thinking about that... I guess your video reminded me of it; the pathway through your garden.
Thank you Tara. We've had an exciting time here - so fortunate the earthquake hurt no-one in our region. And still the ground shakes every day - but only little quivers now...
Autumns colours - the reward for a season's work.... I love it!

Its great that all you need to do is love a garden, and it returns so much in reward. Like people really :)

Thank you Graham for walking us thru your spring garden and keeps you on your toes I guess.
Nice to know things are back to normalcy now after the shake.
It is autumn out here in Sweden. The leaves are falling...
Keep well
