As for your question, I don't know of any way to wire this relay to function the way you described, not with the same switch anyway. A proper 'latching' relay should do the trick however they work with pulses (one pulse latches it, another resets it etc.) but how you would wire one up I have no idea, sorry.
@RandomSnot Its to bypass a faulty control unit so I can power a set of tail lights on a separate circuit, using the oem momentary switch. I've now managed to create what I need using a circuit from the12volt website - thanks!
