@thisfallowstate i know! i wasn't too into the people's key at first, but i acknowledged that it is still really good. BUT THEN, i saw them on their current tour and they played a few off of it and i fuckin love it now. idk, maybe these people don't go to enough bright eyes shows!

I don't think that Conor Oberst would steal from his best friend. This song just happens to sound like something Tim Kasher would play. Maybe they co-wrote it. Ever think of that?

This sounds alot like cursive. Alot of these songs on this album sound like other bands. ILOVE conor, don't get me wrong, but every other album has had something really special that I just couldnt get enough of. And this one just hasn't hit me like that. Thats understandable though, he's made sooo much music between bright eyes and his other bands and solo projects, its a bit unrealisitic to think he can keep making gold forever. And the album is still great! Just not quite as great. :p
