that was a really satisfying ending. I liked how the creators managed to keep on switching back and forth between the themes of happiness and sadness. This episode seems so dramatic and then in the credits it gets very light hearted and brings you back. That was cool thanks for the upload.

I wish i knew the song when Jil wins and neeba says his last words, is was poetically sad. Also in the end theme, i'd like to know that song as well, it's slightly different at the end especially in the credits when you see Jil again standing, realising Neebas lack of justification. (within the credits). Great anime and upload, was one of the best animes around, not necessarily for the graphics or the story and characters, but i just really liked the setting, the feel you could say, thanks.

well when neeba was about to die fighting Jil succubas runs away from kaaya shouting neeba and then it shows him still alive and succubas in child form with a spoon which is linking to ki and gilgameshes relationship so maybe she loves him in other words she used all her powers to save neeba and leg it =P so she could only maintain the body of a child same as ki =D

as for gilgamesh i have no clue its probally just random XP

But anyways its been a great anime, had its fun moments and a few sad ones... and a brother taking jealousy all that way, becoming a "god", and still loosing...

and Coopa is strong, he lifted Jil, Kaaay, Fatina and Utu...

Kally's hometown, everyone has marks on their faces, Kelb and Ethara got married and Utu's helm blushed.

And the last thing they showed was abit unexpected, Ahmey's Spear.

Actually, there has been many scenes since season 1 that hint at Neeba's inferiority complex against Jill.

I imagine that Neeba's very first motive to climb the tower was just simple...but then everytime Jil became stronger, I guess that Neeba felt rushed and his motives escalated to something that outrageous.

I think the succubus just sacrificed her power to preserve Neeba's life. Sort of like how the priestess of ishtar turned into a tiny kid when Gilgamesh's shadow drained the magic out of her.

It's not exactly "unexplained". He was vaulting off the wall. You notice he mentioned how light he felt? Well go back and watch the very first episode and you'll see his armor weighs a ton. Two men couldn't even lift it. So yeah, without It I bet he could jump pretty high, and move pretty fast.

One of the best endings i've seen from an anime, it was left open very well, but i'd be fine if the series ended with this. Still many questions but they are like more final and settled, so you can guess enough, the fight and the credits were awesome, especially Jil standing with no armour on before the final strike, and the scene with Neeba was touching. I'm glad i didn't really hate any of the characters by the end.
