@deadmarioX493737 "semi" = half, "brick" = crash. It's been a while since I did this stuff... I think what I meant by "semi-brick" was that installing my custom banner kept the Wii from loading the system menu ; so I had to resort to BootMii in order to launch a WAD manager app, uninstall my broken banner, and restart the Wii (then everything was fine until next try). So that wasn't a complete brick, since the NAND wasn't affected and the console was back to normal just fine after that. ^^
@Zalext Sorry, I have no idea what this message means... I guess my forwarder is getting old and some loading method has changed ? Or maybe newer FTPii releases don't work with it anymore ?
Your best bet would probably be to extract and keep only the banner data from my forwarder, and build a whole new forwarder with it. :-\
FTPii is a homebrew that lets you access the Wii with any FTP client ; it allows you to backup the Wii's internal hard disk and to dump an original Wii game disc. Although there are now better solutions to do either, without FTPii. :)

Nice forwader, but I can't seem to get it to work properly if ftpii is in SD:/apps/ftpii/
It searches for the dol file in SD:/apps/quake/

What will this load? Elf or Dol files.
As right now i got a ftpii channel what loads dol files but i like one what loads elf so i can have the update ftpii.

Sorry, this one loads a DOL file.
But you can use a channel editor to change the file it loads, and make it load an ELF file (I think). :)
