you shouldnt need to remove the old paint just wet sand the old paint with 1500 grit then prime it with a good SANDABLE primer then prime and sand repeat until the surface is super smooth then paint it.REMEMBER THE SURFACE HAS TO BE SMOOTH AND FREE OF IMPERFECTIONS DUE TO IT BENG BLACK.
@kanton4o use some progressively finer grain sandpaper to kinda rough up the surface a bit cuz y dont really need 2 take off the paint and use primer and a clear coat if u want it 2 come out really nice
