I think it's very obvious what is going on in the Couric interview and it's not pressure, Palin and McCain do not agree on a good 60% of the issues, Palin has had a very tough time walking the fine line of which of her own opinions are fine to give, and which ones will be severely stepping on McCains toes, he calls the shots in the end and it's a big change for her.

Lincoln and Kennedy had no executive experience prior to their presidency. Palin has more executive experience of all the candidates combined, and she is easily least qualified to be president. It doesn't really equate to much importance at this point.

I think it's very obvious what is going on in the Couric interview and it's not pressure, Palin and McCain do not agree on a good 60% of the issues, Palin has had a very tough time walking the fine line of which of her own opinions are fine to give, and which ones will be severely stepping on McCains toes, he calls the shots in the end and it's a big change for her.

Well, one like yourself who is so far into the facts and track record will not forget that McCain was linked in a corruption case back in 1989 in Congress where he and 4 other Congressmen were tried for corruption. Also, let's us not forget that he was a major supporter back in January 2002 about us entering Iraq, a country that hadn't attacked us. Obama may be a bit shady, but McCain is an imbecile, just like the President we have in office now.

Last time I checked, Obama isn't Jeremiah Wright, and honestly, at these times I can understand a little bit why one isn't really proud to be an American. Perhaps if someone like Obama was in office, and there was change, perhaps American wouldn't be the embarrassment that it is today. We're tied up in a war against a country that never attacked us, we stopped fighting a country that really did attack us, and our economy is failing. Let's not even discuss Palin.

Does the Keating Five mean anything to you? It's McCains lack of integrity and gung-ho favor of deregulation that's got this country into the financial mess we're in today. He has a long record of taking money from bad people that made the rich richer while completely ignoring the rest of us. He's not very well liked in the Senate either. It's pretty telling when even the "bad apples" of your own party don't like or trust you or your mean temper. The guys a menace, not a maverick.

He can eloquently dance around the fact that he has accomplished nothing, by blaming everything on Bush from the economy to the crack in his ass- but she at least has tried and succeeded at actually making changes- not just given speeches about it...

republicans have been the first to get a woman on the VP ticket, Walter Mondale ran with Ferraro in 1984. But we all saw how that worked out. If McCain is elected, it will be a break-through for women, but the left will be left looking like assholes, b/c the fisrt woman to make it to the Whitehouse (VP or Pres) will have been a republican.

Lincoln and Kennedy had no executive experience prior to their presidency. Palin has more executive experience of all the candidates combined, and she is easily least qualified to be president. It doesn't really equate to much importance at this point.

Oh, but I disagree. McCain has had four bouts of cancer, will be the oldest person to ever become president if he is elected, and is a fart away from death. In the fairly likely event that he dies in office, Sarah Palin will be president, therefore he has effectively put Sarah Palin in the running for president of the United States, and exibited some wreckless judgement in doing so, by the way.
