Excellent job with this video! it would be cool if Amber, Safi and Solo were mentioned. Jonathan Scott has a blog and as of 12/27/11 Shadow is alive and well and should have new cubs! The Animals in Disney's African Cats are Big Cat stars as well. Sita is Shakira and Khali is really Notch! Thanks for all the effort to allow people to see this wonderful series. Still hopeful it will someday return but with the net and a little effort you can find info on these magnificent cats.

@RMorr50912 To add to my earlier comments, Cheza and Sala stayed together and now rule their own pride. Solo and his buddy also rule together. One of Honey's Boys was killed by lions a month or so ago but they are also the "bullies" in African Cats. White Eye, Bibi and Lispy are also well at this time though Romeo and Clawed just lost the pride to 4 new males after,from what I can gather,one hell of a fight. The new males are being called "The 4 Musketeers".Hope the info helps those interested.

I LOVE this video, especially how they show the names of all the STARS! Great job! There are two great characters missing...Amber (aka Queen) the cheetah and mother to Kike, also Sofi the lepoard cub who is the daughter of Shadow and granddaughter of Half-Tail. Big Cat Week is the best "cat story" out there, bar none. I really hope they bring it back too. Thank you bigcatweek for all the great vido posts! :)

Great video, brought a tear to my eye. Such a wonderful program, one that really showed how life on the plains was. And an amazing video, it really captured the spirit of Big Cat Diary's.

I've got to say my favourite big cat was Toto, such a shame about what happened.

I hope they bring this back in atleast late 2011 as you said or early 2012.

If they do, I hope to fuck that the cast is. Johnathan - Cheetahs. Simon - Lion (Marsh Pride!) & Jackson - Leopards. HOPEFULLY if it does come back they have atleast one of the old cast, without atleast one of them i probably won't watch it.

I usually don't ask for lousy "thumbs up" But i want to see who agrees with me! Thumbs up :D

I think Big Cat Week should expand to the jungle and study tigers as well. No one ever really pays attention to them. But my favorite animal has always been and always will be the cheetah.

R.I.P Red... btw I love all the cats and I really like Notch, but my favourite of all has to be Chui. My mom calls me Chui and says that Im the same as him.... I guess it makes sense. Im 23, still haven't moved out, I'd rather play then work and I always eat most of the food LOL !!!! God I love Big Cat Diary/Week !!!

@linkslover25 Honey tragically got shot by a vet in the wrong place and died. So sad. Tamu regained her place in the pride but lost her cubs.

Toto and Honey were my favorite of all the Big Cats in the series.

They have alluded on their facebook that they want to know what fans liked about the last one, so i think that hints enough it will return to our screens at some point, i'm predicting late 2011 but that's just a hunch. @bigcatweek I prefered it when it wasnt live and you got a story each day I thougth that was a lot better not a lot seemed to happen while live which is understandable. I just think its better pre recorded then do a bit of a live bit afterwards etc
