RE5 is all about explosions and BS like RE had been hollywoodafied. It was short and bs. Resident Evil should be survival horror. RE5 was not survival horror. RE4 was. Stop wanking over Capcom.

I think it's the fact that a lot of the people who played RE 1 through Outbreak: File 2 are of the older generation or grew up on that game, and find the sudden radical shift in enemies and focus to be disorienting and uncomfortable. It's not that 4 and 5 were bad games (especially not 4 XD) it's just that a lot of people always held RE and zombies together in their hearts, and it's hard to accept something new

Its still a horror game, theve just found a way to improve the game. For shooting, who in their right mind would stand still to have to shoot at something(s) coming after you. And as far as the melle goes, who in their right mind would do the same exact knife slash / stab every single time. The action in the game just makes it more realistic. The only thing I dont like about the recent RE's (and most likely this one) is the survival aspect (being conservative with your ammo).
