I would have been nervous with those two trees hanging over the property too. Time flies, we had an ice storm in 2008 I think that took power out for millions. Everyone ran out to look for generators. Still waiting for snow here. I also noticed it looks like the neighborhood is having shed wars. I sure could use a shed. Maybe this summer.
Bad memories. We had a big ice storm a few years ago. I live in the woods and it sounded like cannons going off. No power for 14 days took us 5 days to cut our way out to the main road.
@RedneckResponder Sorry to hear that. Glad you got out safely tho. After i filved this the power went out for over 24 horus but it is now on and we are great. everything is still melting but i think the worst of it is over. Its now raining and melting.
@baconsoda Power back on and things are good now. here comes the warm rain to melt it all away. more branches broke and power was out for over 24 hours.
