Steen and Sweeney are FANTASTIC together :D I know they were a comedy duo already before this, but that film noir game was hilarious! I love how they tried to trip each other. :)
Jim and Steve are a bit more than just the British Colin and Ryan. As I recall, Colin and Ryan met from working together on this show. Jim and Steve, however, had been "Sweeny and Steen" on stage for a while before going on Whose Line. Perhaps you knew that, who knows. Good observation, though, they do work really well together.
Actually, Ryan and Colin were already friends from years before (like, since their early 20s, I think?) and they'd performed together quite a bit prior to Whose Line. Although I don't think they ever formed a "Sweeney & Steen" type duo... I think they just did improv together in Vancouver's TheatreSports.
But yeah, Jim and Steve are a really good pair :-)
In the world's worst person to be prime minister section - the first person I thought of was John Major too. "I am a very varied person enjoying a whole range of different types of peas" LOL
I enjoy Steven Frost's Advert character voice and gestures!

That last scene could be the best "prop game" ever played, UK & US

I just had a giggle at Tony sitting in the background fanning himself while Jim touches himself xP Sheesh, that was a weird sentence!

Is it just me, or does Jim look a bit like a young Hugh Laurie?

It's not you.. well unless it's me as well.

You can tell that Jim and Steve get along by how how hard they they're trying to one-up each other.
Bojack727 2 years ago 6
Jim and Steve are the British Colin and Ryan. Or perhaps Colin and Ryan are the American Jim and Steve. Cart, horse, chicken, egg, my head hurts.

What was it that Tony was saying on the first idea in worlds worst?

All I got was "I'm having a very considerable..." before the audience started laughing.

"I'm having a very considerable amount of pleasure" ? That it maybe? He's imitating someone...
gaaraluvstheocarina 2 years ago 5
he's impersonating John Major... a pretty easy target for comedians of the day in the UK.

The whole thing in narrate where they make each other do stupid things is hillarious! Steve and Jim are great!
queenoftheoutlands 2 years ago 3
One of the best Narrate I've ever seen. It's hillariuos to watch them compete on how to make the other one act out the most ridiculous part

Well. The British Rule. Send the troops home. Enough is enough. Britain and Canada........send them HOME.

Jim and Steve are just as good at narrate as Ryan and Collin later were- this is probably their best one.

The last 2 are classics... especially "Stop children". It was an above average World's Worst. Usually the compilation episodes aren't that great.

See, you obviously don't know what blackface is, because blackface is racist. See Al Jolson and The Jazz Singer.
It's the fact that it's racist that creeps me out. Why would a British show, in the 90s, do a weird intro like that? Doesn't make sense.
Kiss your mother with that mouth?
