I have a Athearn CN F7A and F7B 9044 and 9045 for $89 bucks and my Athearn Blue Box Centre Flow Hopper it was for 125 Bucks

Yeah, losing parts sucks. I dropped one of the sand filler hatches for my RS-18 build today, never found it either. Ever been in one of those engines? My uncle drives them too.

now all you need to do to completely deck out your go train is add lights to the rear passenger car

but i must say that go train sounds a heck of a lot better then the old athearns one and looks amazing, and hopefully tlt will fix their packing because for that price, they should have it packed good and not damaged

@trainOholic Already in the works, they have an appointment with Carlton from Ligar in the new year. Lights, Sound, the works. Still waiting on my sitting people eco-pack from walthers. Back ordered till the cows come home.

@trainOholic Nope, got it at Georges Trains. I pre-ordered through CMT (still waiting 3 weeks post release) for my pre-order to be filled. So they can stick it. Loose my deposit though :(

It sounds and looks beautiful! I hate it when something breaks of from a brand new engine or car, because they feel like their not new anymore. Don't you think so? And then trying to get the manufacturer to replace it, I don't even want to think about it!

@retrainrun Truthfully, it would of broken off eventually. I have cats, so say no more. Just didnt want to damage it so early. I have since replace it with a staple piece , and looks just like it did in brandnew :P

Also used "Glue" to hold it in place. What a novel idea :)

Damn that locomotive is awesome....details are replaceable/fixable. It runs and sounds amazing. Gotta get me a Cal-train one (not gunna happen for almost $400)

@aocruiser I know, but two hours later, I made my own replacement Antenna, and moved the plow up a bit. So all is good in the end, but still was a pain for the $ they were asking.

It's from Georges Trains, aka "The Local Guy". They only have the GO TLT MP40, and the Athearn GO and Road Runner Loco / Car sets.

@97nnamdi This was an extra special purchase due to the limited quantities and the only other choice is Athearn. Normally I drop my own decoders in sub $100 loco's.

Nice engine! Too bad about the antennae and the pilot eh? I saw the reps from True Line at our Chilliwack train show in Oct. I got to see the engine up close.....impressive! Enjoy!

But was it worth a 4 year wait is my question????.... Kato got their N scale one out pretty quick, and they had an earth quake and nuclear melt down .

@TMandN I have since made my own Antenna, and modified the plow so it's not a wedge brake. Two middle fingers up to the kid and factory in China that glued this thing together.
