First get the deck ready. On the bottom put a blue five of spades. Just above put a read five of spades.
Spread them out and a card is picked out (here the eight of diamands). Shuffle the deck and make sure you don't mess up the bottom of the deck! Put the picked card in the deck.
Now we have somewhere in the middle: the eight, above it the blue card and above that one, the five of spades (red card)
This is the new situation: the (red card) five of spades has gone from above to blue to the bottom of the deck! On top of the deck we have the blue card (five of spades) and underneath the eight of diamonds.
Then if you turn the blue, you have to turn both the blue and the eight op spades that is underneath it. (that's the hardest part)
You turn them both back and put only the blue card aside.
Then shuffle again and don't mess op the bottom because there is still the (red card) five of spades remaining. They say 'stop' and you show the bottom five op spades. Then spread them out and there won't be a blue card anymore.
Turn the blue card and of course it is the five of spades.

Here is my guess. The whole deck is 8 of diamonds except the bottom card as well as one blue card (easy to hide on blue card on the table), both of which are 5 of spade. When the magiacian flips the blue card, he flips TWO cards at same time and hence we see 8 diamond. But then he only drops the blue card on table which is spade.
Also the card at the bottom of the desk is another 5 spade and matchs the blue card...

Its always on the bottom of the deck, there are 2 5 of spades in the deck, a red and blue one. he used the double lift making it look like he was lifting the 8 of diamonds as a blue card, the only blue card is the 2nd 5 of spades. Hope that helped.
he doesnt stop the video, he just performs a pretty basic "double lift" (picking up 2 cards when it only appears you have picked up one) and using that do disguise the face that the bottomt 5 cards or so remained the same throughaout the whole thing

Nice! I couldn't figure it out from watching it. It has a couple of weaknesses that may need to be worked out. Such as the difficulty of a double lift at the moment when the audience is staring just at that very card.
Also I've never seen anyone do a Hindu shuffle in real life unless they were about to do something fishy. This trick needs a cut of the deck or something to make the shuffle seem more random.
same deal for the second part. He never shuffles the bottom part of the deck, and at any point in that "shuffling", the 5s is always on the bottom of the pack in his right hand. So at the beginning the blue 5s is at the bottom and the red 5s is one card above that. Good attempt though!
