The episode was on Travel ,and just about Crete.

After they use the song for Globetreker Greece program..

Well...all my friends in Corfu recon it is Xylouris, or one of his songs, anyways.

The name of the guy who sings it in the documentary is Giorgos Skoulas (and from what i know he is not dead). He is the son of Alkiviades Skoulas who had founded the museum of folklore art in Anogeia, Creta. It 's not a Xylouris (who has sadly died) song as the previous commentator said.
