I have a chance to get a 1967 yamaha 100yl1 for $250obo. Its been sitting in a garage for 20 years, and hasnt been started in 20 years. The engine appears to be seized. Because I tried it on the right side where the start thing is, and it didnt hardely move much at all. It doesnt and has never been titled. It was originally from Indiana, and is now where I am, in South Carolina. Everybody but 1 person has told me not to get it. Whats your opinion on this?
Even if the engine is totally seized, it would be worth it, even if you parted it out. I guess it depends on if you want to work on it yourself or get it fixed? $250 sounds fairly reasonable, I'd buy it.
Your Yamaha runs good, but, - Dude! - somebody's going to run over your camera! I like the effect where passing vehicles create a wake that rumbles in the audio. But what's up with the battery on the seat ?! There should be a place for the battery under the seat.
haha yeah the camera was near the side of the road. the battery is out of an atv and was too big to fit where it should go thats why its strapped on the seat with jumper cable lol. since then i have got a proper battery.
