Hutch told me about another Australian band named the Hoodoo Gurus. This was part of the inspiration behind me writing the song "Hoodoo/Voodoo Medicine Man" for Aerosmith released on their '89 Pump album. "Read it in the papers, it ain't fair, You know who today don't seem to care, Livin' lovin' gettin' loose, Masturbatin' with a noose" - See how Michael Hutchence died.
Will Smith & I were good friends and I wrote songs for him, including the song Switch. This is why INXS named their album Switch. After writing the songs Day after Day for Def Leppard and The Show Must Go On for Queen, both songs inspired by Alan Parsons Day after Day (The Show Must Go On) from the 1977 album I Robot, Will and I came up with the ideas for the film I, Robot. I was involved with Hutch from '83 at the age of 15 and he was 23. I also wrote the songs Hot Girls, Pretty Vegas, etc
I think I'm crazy .... wonder how can a person so I did not know about? ... it's amazing what Michael left in us, a mark that no one can ever erase, just hearing his voice my days are happy, I need to hear every day ... why Mister Hutch was allowed to leave us so early? I will miss you and always be in my heart all the rest of my life ... we are in the afterlife! I love you
Michael will never leave us, he will be in our hearts, minds and souls forever. No one will ever replace him or his music. The legend will live on. Great to see like minded fans on this video posting comments, big thank you to "thosefour"for posting me the video =)
Thank you so much! I miss Michael ... but yeah he's timeless! It's a hard day today, yeah ... when i think about what happened 12 years ago ... but Michael is a star, a shinning star ... And now he illuminates the sky and makes beautiful all my days when he sings or when i see his smile on pictures or videos ...
Michael is still alive in our hearts. He's inmortal. He's a legend. He is timeless. I'll love him forever!!! God bless the great Michael Kelland John Hutchence!! Thanks for this tribute. It's really nice!
