I saw the similarity too. But only in the intention. Cary Grant was, by far, the BEST MALE COMEDIAN ever. Quaid is another limited actor.

I never knew that. I love Cary Grant and Irene Dunne in The Awful Truth. I love Dennis Quaid as well.
