No matter who followed Kobashi, honestly, wouldn't have been able to have a good reign, in my opinion. With Kobashi's reign fresh in anyone's mind, no one would have been able to live up to that.
It wasn't all THAT bad. Rikioh looks like he's definitely improving. The Muso is definitely a sweet move though. Ogawa's a very important wrestler in Noah given the lack of vicious heels. He doesn't deserve the flack he gets for his ring style. Gotta love that good ol' eye poke too.
pretty decent midcard match. I know that there are lots of Rikio haters in North America, but he does not suck. He's already pretty good for a big guy and he's got potential to improve. His title matches are all decent (except for the Misawa match). The kobashi title defences are too damn good, it made the poor bastard Rikio who had to be champion right after kobashi look like shit.

Ogawa plays the heel incredibly well, using cheapshots and underhanded tricks during his matches.
