Damn these new unreliable designs. If whirlpool was smart they would go back to the old proven maytag mechanical drive system, put a premium price tag on that and i gaurantee they will sell and last for years. These appliance companies charge the world for garbage they cant even stand behind now. I know the goverment want energy star apliances but how are we saving energy when you have to throw them out every 3 to 5 years? Thats a waste of energy and raw materials if you ask me
