I don't think there are any issues with the character design. They simple appear more real than most people are used to seeing (In the show). I think the only reason you may think they appear "Creepy" is because some features (mainly eyebrows) may seem a bit too... fierce? Either way I think the gameplay design is a great idea, so great job. I hope it's released soon :)

The boss looks like the fight with the Dragon in Demon Stone for me - He won't die with his health reduced to 0 normally, but reduce his health enough, then the final move which will finish him 100% will be available, a combo with all 3 characters. Or it was just a coincidence?
