Solid plugged barrel blank firing replicas are not considered firearms and are commonly used for filming movies and realistic scenes. Its obvious editing, effects and props can create realism. But its sad when people are fooled by fiction and snitch. The only guilty persons were the thieves who reposted a staged event and portrayed it as fact. Who are they hurting more by doing this?

this was a filming for a movie and certain scenes were to be interlaced with real footage. there is 2 real pistols and 1 blank firing replica with a solid plugged barrel for the "dangerous" scenes. an AR could cycle blanks with a modified buffer tube spring or internal adapter. it was never claimed that all shots were blanks. the squibs were simultaneously detonated in the dirt by wire, while firing the replica to create realism. game grounds laws state intoxication as illegal not shooting it.

If you pause the bump firing scenes you can tell the ammo is real and even some pistol shooting(when camera is very close) you can tell the ejected cases are live ammo. Of course the pistol you shot at your friend next to the computer was a blank firing pistol. Just be careful when firing into stones. I'm still pissed my favorite range was closed because some guy fired wild and it hit a old ladies house.

this was a closed session for filming. also as per GC rules, deflections at a fixed target or mark under a 45 degree angle are not in violation. it was never claimed the bump fire scenes were fake, also its not hard to stay on target while bumping. never did a round leave the grounds. squibs were detonated in the feet shooting scene while simultaneously firing the blank replica. the problem is it looked too real and people snitched it like rats.
