Digging through my parent's closet, I found a TC730 in the box. The play controls do have a bit of dirt on them, and my dad says it needs to be serviced. Otherwise it is in pristine condition. he wants to sell it, I think I will put it in storage and mess around with it for a while and get it to tip-top shape. Thanks for the vid.
Look after that machine, they are very solid built and have excellent sound quality.
Do service your dad's machine, or at least clean the heads, tape pathway and lubricate the motors with good quality oil. You will have years of pleasure to come with the TC 730.
Cool! I have a similar model, but mine is TC-580 with no built-in speaker and controls.
