We have a God-given moral standard that if violated, threatens us with a sense of harm & lack of well-being but we *choose* to do wrong anyway. If that's not enough, we have the Word of God in scripture but we choose what's convenient, not what's true. Paul is saying that we should discern right from wrong by the standard of God's Word, not our subjective opinion.

I don't take God for a fool; there are millions of religions that say basically the same thing: "the Bible is a lie & we have the final revelation" Well, Jesus said this would happen. Its not like people think if they have an illicit sex life or eat meat they would find the love of God. That's not what the Bible says. Unfortunately, people who don't read the Bible won't know this if they take a Catholic's priest word for it. But the tradition of not eating meat to the Catholics doesn't bring them any closer to God than praying does and they know this. Its just a traditional event called Good Friday.
How can you pray to God and ask to be engaged in His service when you have the body of His children in you mouth. This society is so demonic and fall and people will find any way to excuse their sinful ways. Sex life is purify for husbands and wives to create good God loving children not for sense gratification. Following Gods laws will bring you closer to Him and sadly the Bible doesn't have it any more.
Yeah, I completely agree. I'm 21 and still a virgin because I'm saving it for marriage and children. The Bible has many laws, most of them are in Deuteronomy but those were for Israelites back then. The Bible also says many ways to please the Lord which will bring you closer to him. Jesus spoke of ways to resist temptation which brings you closer to God. Maybe the Bible has a whole lot of what to do but it sure has a whole lot of what not to do.

We have a God-given moral standard that if violated, threatens us with a sense of harm & lack of well-being but we *choose* to do wrong anyway. Paul is saying that we should discern right from wrong by the standard of God's Word, not our subjective opinion.

I don't take God for a fool; there are millions of religions that say basically the same thing: "the Bible is a lie & we have the final revelation" Well, Jesus said this would happen. I'm Hindu myself, excuse the name, just wanted to say it was good to see another Hindu (I consider Hare Krishna's Hindu, you just worship his first face where as I focus on his third, in my belief) with a strong interest in the global elite and all that's happening to the world around us.

@ConorRyan22 Ha I am aware of this but it is only a word, why let it affect you? Anyway surely you know what I mean when I use the word, and that's what is important. I meditate on Siva because I think Siva is tied to Allah and I am a big supporter of Islam too. I think if more people worshipped Godhead's destroyer face the NWO would have a lot more to fear. I see the trinity as representing different ends, Siva represents what I want to achieve.

We are all on the path one way or other some going up, some down, some r not moving. If ur following Christs teaching purely no meat eating, no illicit sex life, no gambling no intoxication if u have surrendered everything to Christ and serve Him with all ur heart, then u're on the path if u simple go 2 church once a week & never study ur inner life, u r not on the path.

LOL I haven't been to a "church" in many years... dont trust the "harlot" or its daughters. There is SO much deception out there & its only getting worse. I dont need to "study" my innerself, I need to reflect on my mistakes on my walk as a CHRISTIAN & improve them so the same cycle doesnt happen again. That is called, growing in the CHRISTIAN walk.

@ConorRyan22 If Christ spoke of not eating meat, they wouldnt have sacraficed lamb in the OT & since CREATOR allowed no waste, they had to eat it. HE also told in the Prodigal Son that the father called for his "fattest calf"... There are many verses speaking of eating animal flesh, or "meat".

What knowledge are you given about God in the christian religion? Are we told anything of His likes, dislikes, pass times, relationships with His devotees? no, all we are given is a talking bush and a bombing voice from the clouds.

The pure teaching has been taken out, How to attain pure Love of God has been taken out, how to change your consciousness has been taken out, During the treaty on Nicaea the Romans altered the bible to suit their system and that system has been in place ever since. Just believe & u go back home 2 God...I'm afraid there is a lot more 2 it than that, Just believe and u can continue with your nonsense like meat eating illicit sex life and so on, it doesn't work that way. Its not like people think if they have an illicit sex life or eat meat they would find the love of God. That's not what the Bible says. Unfortunately, people who don't read the Bible won't know this if they take a Catholic's priest word for it. But the tradition of not eating meat to the Catholics doesn't bring them any closer to God than praying does and they know this. Its just a traditional event called Good Friday.

How can you pray to God and ask to be engaged in His service when you have the body of His children in you mouth. This society is so demonic and fall and people will find any way to excuse their sinful ways. Sex life is purify for husbands and wives to create good God loving children not for sense gratification. Following Gods laws will bring you closer to Him and sadly the Bible doesn't have it any more.

Yeah, I completely agree. I'm 21 and still a virgin because I'm saving it for marriage and children. The Bible has many laws, most of them are in Deuteronomy but those were for Israelites back then. The Bible also says many ways to please the Lord which will bring you closer to him. Jesus spoke of ways to resist temptation which brings you closer to God. Maybe the Bible has a whole lot of what to do but it sure has a whole lot of what not to do.
