I think as far as his language goes with his daughters around.. I think he can understand that at that age they have no idea what the hell those words mean or anything. I'm sure once they're older and gain more knowledge of the English language he will stop so they don't pick up the words. Even so... there are worse things in the world..

Here's a tip, and I'm not even going to give you advice- The f-word, the s-word, the b-word, the n-word are just words. There's nothing good or bad about a word, only the meaning that you attach to it. If a word bothers you, it has nothing to do with other people. I use 6W of LED over a 10 Gallon. It's looking good, if it were 10W or 12W I think it would be better, but as is. works awesome! Sometimes people get wattage obsessed!

i just added a fixture with two 65 watt compact fluorescent bulbs

i left my old t-5 28 watt, single-strip light on over te jungle val

do you think that's too much lighting for my 55g?

the jungle val pearl when both lights are on

but not so much when the new fixture is...

but you are right with the lights. ive never had algae and my friend gave me these grow lights or something along those lines next thing you know swords shoot up new leaves and so does the pothos but my water is so green the lights barely penetrate to the bottom now got to get a good balance going here.

lights+new fish =algae

same as

lights + nitrites=algea

so im going to tough it out till the params get back

plants use both blue and red ends of the spectrum. Its just that alot of plants like rotundifolia and the red ludwigia species prefer more red, and the lighter, mid green plants like a mix. But your right about not getting actinic, in particular, because it uses a tiny bit of red and blue, but mostly purple, which does absolutely nothing for the plants lol.i know the coralife bulbs give charts on their bulb light spectrums. just wanted to let you know. kickass tanks btw, lovin ur vids

@supertasticasian Yeah. I wish I had a spectrum diagram to show, they do need other parts of the blues, but its sooo small compared to the red....glad you like the vids/tanks.
