Have you tried running iTunes movies on this machine? I heard this machine doesn't play them very well. I'm very interested in this computer, but only if iTunes movies can play smoothly on it....thanks!
@wayner5102421 from what I understand, the iTunes Movie player does not support GPU acceleration, so lower power CPU machines like the Atom/Ion s will not be able to play the video smoothly. SInce the CPU will have to do all the work a higher 2.66 ghz dual or quad core will be needed.
hey have you thought about getting the broadcom crystal hd card. I heard it decodes video alot better with reduced cpu usage
I have the acer ar1600 and win7 x86 and everything is working great. Did a few mods but now it's really good. Flash does stutter sometimes at full screen but until the final version is out I'll wait.
No, no need to open it and install anything else. Works flawlessly as it is. Zero lag or anything. ;-)
The 1600 has only one core and ION LE, so those limitations will cause it to lag on some intensive video types like Flash. I don't feel that final Flash will solve the hardware limitations that the 1600 has.

@ThisIsBillyH
At the time of this video it was Flash 10.1 Beta 1p. Now I'm running RC 4 and is demo'd in my three latest videos with Boxee. Check my channel.
