I purchased the SHURE PG48 for my Zi8, and the camera does not record audio when I use it on the camera. I have a XLR to 1/8 adapter and everything. I don't understand the problem. I have another mic that works fine, and I tried adjusting the audio input level in the camera settings. Nothing works.
Any advice?

Ich hab mir vor 2 Wochen das SonyECMDS70P für meine Zi8 gekauft. Zum Vergl. hatte ich die Flip Ultra. Aufnehmen tue ich oft Musik(Klavier). Ich konnte keine wahnsinnigen Unterschiede feststellen zw. Flip und Zi8+Mic. Da mir die Zi8 letzte Woche kaputt ging, überlege ich nun, ob ich komplett auf die Flip umsteige. Was mich stört an der Kodak -> bei 1080p ist fast garnichts auf dem Bild mehr drauf und die MOV Dateien handelt mein Pc nicht (stundenlanges konvertieren). Habt ihr einen Rat?

Also das Beyerdynamic MCE 72 ist ja auch eingentlich ein Kondensatormikrofon und kein Dynamicmikrofone.

Hey guys, I also have the zi8 and zi6. Question. I posted a vid which I shot at 720 60fps on the zi8, and uploaded it directly as a .mov file, and it seems a little crappy even on HD setting. Do you guys recommend uploading a diff. way? Your vids seem more clear. Thanks.
