@NorthernEntrtainmnt Once you export the video, it will save the file to the folder that you selected. Now you can go to youtube, hit upload in the top bar next to 'Browse' and 'Movies'. Select the movie file, and there you go.

Hi I have imovie 08, and I have a problem importing a video. It just gives two options 960x540 and a fullhd - nothing inbetween. Does imovie 11 give other formats? Another thing is directly exporting movies on youtube...does imovie 11 support uploading movies directly on youtube in hd? 08 gives only 640x320.... thanks for replies.

I followed all the steps listed and I am having one problem. When I upload it to Youtube my movies seem zoomed in almost. You can look at them to see what I am talking about. I played around with the dimensions a bit to see if I could get them right but with no luck. If anyone had any tips or other video to refer me to that would make me very happy.

epic! i failed on this a few times, i was doing everything the video told me to apart from saving it to desktop, i was saving my video to my movies thinking it would affect the upload quality. So if any one else is failing, make sure its to your desktop!!

I recorded a video game video with a capture card called Igrabber. it is NOT an HD capture card, but the quality is quite good. I followed your instructions, and the intro to the video was in HD but the actual gameplay was extremely blurry. Is this a result of the capture card?
