  • I HAD ONE AND HATED IT EVERYDAY AND ALMOST KILLED ME WHEN I CRASHED

  • this car can go to hell i bought one like 4-5 months ago with barely 36k miles on it and its been at the shop twice already.. worst car I've ever had.

  • Mine is 2006, almost 100,000 miles and no issues, ever!

  • i own this car and it has 100000 miles and runs great. the engine is noisy but we get about 30mpg highway. the stock stereo is really good too.

  • Junk

  • @ddpianoman301 ...like ur mom is

  • @StudRadio I have one of these and never had a bigger piece of junk. Kinda like your daddy.

  • Suzuki no more with GM now

    Long life with Mitsubishi partner!

  • I just got in a crash yesterday with this car. It was entirely the other drivers fault he thought he had enough time to come in from a side street onto a busy street... he didn't. I hit his middle/rear, and the crumple zone worked amazing! The car is totaled, but I was able to walk away with only a bruise. :) It kept me safe, also it was very roomy i was always able to hold all my stuff. It was my first car, I got it for $8,000 at 6000 miles, and it was the best decision I have ever made. :)

  • The powertrain warrenty on this car sucks and depending on what dealer you go to they might even charge you big bucks even though its on warrenty. THis car sucks just stay away. Read some reviews online. Just type Suzuki forenza on google and it will show you all the reviews. If you are getting a car financed dont go with regional acceptance corporation they suck.

  • Never buy this car. This car ia a piece of crap. The value depreciate's really fast and theres always something wrong with the car. We got my suzuki forenza appraised the other day I payed 15,500 in june 2007 as of January 1, 2011 it is only worth 3000 according to car max. This car sucks real bad and has loud engine noise. After 50,000 miles thats when you start having all kinds of trouble stay away from this piece of crap car which does not hold its value.

  • I love my Forenza. 8900 dollars for one with 10,000 miles. How can you beat that? especially with the power train warranty it comes with

  • here in Chile and mots south america is sold as the the chevrolet optra

  • it looks a great car, is it sold in europe?

  • @subzero92MK in germany its caled Chevrolet Nubira

  • @waldgeist007 yeah maybe i have seen some of it here in italy

  • @waldgeist007

    Thailand are called Chevrolet Optra

  • this car is great!!!

  • Wow, I thought Suzuki always built great cars. I liked the styling of this car, but I'm hearing its not great mechanically and in the engine.

  • actually the engine is great ive got the reno which is the same thing and i absolutly love it the milage is great but i also have the 5 speed manual id say get it its like a neon cheap runs great as long as you maintain and there are parts galore if you want to mod it

  • @FenderJbass64 Lies. I just bought a reno and can't find anything for this car.

  • @SilentDrifter03 ya i have one and i hear the same stuff all the time, but it comes standard with a 100,000 mile power train warranty

  • i have an 04 its been a good car. my only complaints are that it lacks when it comes to acceleration and for some reason my clock no longer works. other then that the styling is much better then the newer models and the 04 has some better features then the newer ones. so if your on a budget its a good car to get but to expect anything to fancy

  • this thing is e-brake king

  • @stevieloose1 that is so true

  • I would suggest 2004 models. I have a 2004.. at 94 000 miles.. runs great. 2004-2005 models were the "good" ones that were originally made for other markets. Once the manufacturer saw that they can sell this car.. they cut down the quality so much. 2006 2007 and even 2008 models suck. 2004 ones especially are "trying to make a good impression" cars... and dirt cheap. If u'r shopping for a car and want to spend only a couple grand, go for a 2004 forenza.

  • i got this car but im 6"3(and still growing) which is too damn tall for this car. gonna have to look for a new one soon that i can fit in.

  • 4th brake lights started staying on while driving. got out the car alot, and notice they were still on had to tap the brakes alot just to get them to go off. now im having problems with my a/c shortage i guess it won turn on some times have to keep turning the knob back and forth just to get the air to cut on and blow. no problems with the engine (knocking on wood) im so ready to get another car. i still havent grown to love it after even after 2 years!

  • i have this car and i hate it! i wish i would of shopped around instead of settling for my first deal of getting finaced on a new car. i bought it brand new back in june of 2007 with 17 miles on it. 5 month's later i started having minor problems with the car. 1st. it was was making a rubbing noise under the hood on cold starts then went away 2nd. woulnd shift out of park at times.3rd.tranny started driving like it was in 3rd. gear due to bad sensor.

  • Hello?!?! my 06 forenza wagon came with alloy wheels and side curtain airbags!

FYI i once got mine to do 117, but i think the wind was at my back cause the most ive done since then was only about 110. Mine is a wagon though, maybe the sedan is faster.

  • I have a 07, bought it in a pinch

It is the most sloppy driving POS ever. Slow even with a 5spd, has blind spots that can hide a Mack truck.

Hood shakes at over 50mph from the wind and it gets blown all over the road in the slightest breeze.

Cheap POS kumho tires wore out in 22K.

You could not pay me to buy another one.

  • I almost bought this car, the only thing was that Im 2 tall for it :(

  • I have a 05 Forenza and its a pretty kickass car. excellent sound system and very solid. id recommend this car to anyone.

  • Sad thing is you can't add transmission fluid yourself. Theres no dipstick. And like notmarcofilms said.... I also have to drive a long way to a dealer. 2 1/2 hours.

  • yea my 07 hit 155mph.

  • Funny how this car gets negative reviews but everyone who owns one loves it. I have a black 06 forenza, with a 5-speed manual and I really like mine. btw I can do 0-60 in 8. My car has no modifications either.

  • I have an 05 forenza and it is great, especially at 140mph....

  • *cough*bullshit*cough*

  • this dudes a fuckin idiot the 2007 suzuki forenza (standard) does 0-60 in 10 while the corolla does 0-60 in 13 and i raced a corolla S while my suzuki was stock and i smoked the motha fucka he needs to do some research.

  • i got 2006 forenza and am very happy with it. It looks great in pearl white, it came with tinted windows and the interior is much nicer than any other base car. PLUS it comes with power everything for less than all others come with power nothing.

Add the 10 year warranty and the low price and it can't be beat. i dont find it underpowered at all cuz i have a manual transmission, its soooo fun to drive. and for only 13K out the door :)

  • the only thing i would say would be a negatively about the car:

    1. gas millage is not bad (i get 25-30mpg) but getting at least 30 like most economy cars would be nice.

    2. there is only one suzuki dealership left in the entire phoenix area. there were 4 a year ago. so getting warranty work done, etc, can be a bit of a drive.

  • Hell yea! Or like me;throw that automatic in to second or3rd g. for a split second and freeway passing is a cinch! It was kinda squirrlly when I 1st got it til I found out the 50psi performance tires Suzuki puts on the car were only filled up to FREAKING 35!Damn near tore my shit up.I can't believe were taking about Forenzas. There was NO disc. on YT a year ago when I bought it.I know.I looked.GO FORENZA!!

  • It's sold in Europe as a Chevvy.

  • its a nice car, but i felt driving it i should have gotten better gas mileage for what it is.

  • This car is nice for the money, and its very attractive

  • i own this car and i love it. But yes i find it to be underpowered as well. especially when i'm trying to pass someone on the highway. But its a fun to drive car. the only thing i wish i had on mine is cruise control and keyless entry. but otherwise a great car.
