Fundies WANT to feel persecuted. The Bible tells them true believers will be mocked and persecuted for their beliefs. Therefore any sign of persecution (in their own terms) "proves" they are true believers and the Chosen Ones.

There are really nasty things going on, intended to suppress all religions in the US, with the exception of one type of "Christianity" (or so they claim). What most people are calling fundamentalists or literalists, are a subversive political cult of theocrats, called the Dominionists. A theocratic political party like the Confederacy of civil war, or the Dominionists of today, is treasonous to even exist. THEY ARE under attack. I'm one of those attacking.

Fantastic video. I hear this kind of thing from pagans and Wiccans too, saying "you're persecuting me" as soon as you disagree with their beliefs. So this is not something just Christians do, there are "persecuted witches" too who think everyone is out to get them.

I totally agree with you, with no offence intended, Christians seem to be offended by anything that isn't representing their own faith, not all, but a majority do have that sense of intollerance. Great video btw ^^.
Oh wow, I was just having this exact conversation with a friend of mine the other day. Some Christians are so self-righteous that they feel slighted at the thought that other religions would dare have a celebration during the time of the celebration of their lord, as if December 25th is reserved and to be praised by EVERYONE in the same way. But like you mentioned, it's mostly the fundamentalist Christians. What can we say about it? These people truly believe that they have the ONLY truth. SMDH

The only thing actually attacking Christianity is the extreme level of ignorance within Christianity from Christians.
I have to remind my mother (who is a christian) that it was never non christians who turned christmas into x-mas. It was the christians. The only time you really see Christ represented in christmas is when you see a plastic baby Jesus glowing in someone's yard next to the santa frosty and rudolph wise men.

My point of view on this is, Happy Holidays is inclusive to everyone, Merry Christmas is not because it points out only to one religion.
