PC, f7 wasn't working caused i had it mapped as a media key. (apple keyboard on pc) i De-mapped it and it worked. i couldn't find another alternative. new frame* continues the same shape and new keyframe* is not what i want. IDK any other way besides on blank frame f7.

Right click on the timeline or use the options at the top. i believe it's modify - timeline

right click on next frame and use the insert blank key frame
