They really are freakin' awesome. I saw them by chance by stumbling drunk into a venue called the Mill in Iowa City and loved them. Then I found out they're part of saddle-creek and I was even more impressed that they were playing in such a small venue in a midwestern state.
I used to know Tyson drummer I knew his younger brother and Im really happy to see him doing well. I lived with them in Pacific Heights for like a year.
To be onest it was, as walnotes said, a very nice and happy meeting. It was an afternoon of music in the park with few friends, a kind of fundrising for something, a kind of memories for someone, sorry but I don't remember the real reason. They were there frendly. They probably are very nice performers and persons. I guess.
these guys work their asses off playing around the U.S. and Europe. I've seen them in Berlin once and San Francisco twice and talked to them all three times. They are the nicest performers you'll meet. If they were playing for 20 people they were probably happy they could make 20 people happy. If they have "made it" then I'm sure they're just looking forward to some time off to rest before they play again and make more people happy to hear them.
you mean "Skate Park"?

I love how the guy dancing is just dancing dancing dancing stop hands in pockets.
Still, I'd rather dance than just stand and watch.

i liked the part where he said "one man show" while the guy with the pink hair was putting on a one man show of his dance. that's neat.
