I have a question that I hope you can answer. I just bought this keyboard and hooked it up in fl studio but the transport controls dont work. Can you tell me how to link everything up or make a video I have looked all over on the internet for info. Let me know and thank you.
Does it have its own drivers for Windows? Under XP (yeah, I'm a dinosaur!) I don't like playing "guess which USB Audio Device is which"!
M-Audio normally get this right - make class-compliant devices but also have their own device-specific drivers so they appear with their proper names in your DAW.
@ohdratdigital Hmm, well I'm getting a mackie onyx blackjack idk if your familiar with that but if you are i'd like to know if i can hook those up. If not, what interface would you recommend??
@xenoclix No, I haven´t a preference for a particular brand, but must have on my keyboard are the pads for the batteries, as it has the AlesisQX49, I do not care brand,I prefer compatibility with a brand that I offers what I need.
Hey! how are you? when you play the drum with your software, do the come out as a separate track when you play them all it once. Like a drum kit with a different mic hooking up to an individual one?
Hey, one question if you can help: in comparison with the sl mkii, how is the key action of the qx49 (which is the same key action with the q49 I suppose)? Really enjoy the key action of the sl mkii but I need a second keyboard... Thanks!!! :)
@ThatOneAwkwardKid273 Well first you have to run the controller into a computer, use that to make the sound then out from the computer to the live sound system.

I NEED HELP! i bought this and installed everything and updated it all.. cannot get any sound... i can get sound playin synthesia but it lags.. about a second or two and is quite bad... can u show a tutorial on set up or anything?

@jinwon521 that's a tough one - we're hard pushed to decide! We like the pitch and mod wheel at the side of the keyboard on the QX49, but they're very similar keyboards that each have something over the other. Head over to our forums and we can talk more!
i just bought the Q25, just until i get used to the keyboard, i got it for FL studio and i have only just started taking an interest in this stuff, so do you think i have made the right purchase to begin with, once i get used to it i will move up to the Q49 thanks for this review and i have sub'd.
