I'm not a fan of the bombing-mission track, it's rather repetitive, but the opening, Mako Reactor, and battle themes are some of my favorites in the history of the series.

On a side note, some of this so called "remixed" music has totally butchered the original music, Noebu wanted to use MIDI for a reason. the Original PSX music proves this by being superior to the Advent Children music as well as the new remixed music, i will say this however, The Remastered Orchestrated mp3's sound really well, but the original music from the psx version is how it was intended to sound. I suggest the Remastered mp3's for people who want something new. IMO :D

anyone who thinks crisis core or advent children were a decent representation of the ff7 world should not have a hand in a remake. all the comments on here talking about adapting the CC combat system in a ff7 remake...eugh makes me sick. i hope they never remake the game, it was amazingly perfect as it was.

Aside from graphics is this any different from the original? Any bonus content like new Summons new characters maybe an extended storyline? If they went out of their way to remake the whole game they must've added something

However we all know this game needs a makeover and despite arguments to the contrary Square Enix relented that they are considering remaking it on the PS3 in spite of space issues

If and when they remake it it'll most likely be the exact same but with a reworked combat system new avatars and an improved graphics layout

Terrible terrible. Should have just left the game how it was made. The realistic proportions aren't clear and dont work. Good attempt but next time just leave it how it was intended. Leave the remastering to the Square Enix team that made the game. >_>

The music can definitely be worked on. Not just the choice of song, but the volume. It needs to be normalized. Also there is a new remastered soundtrack on Qhimm which is a million times better than this.

Wait, NOW I get why the realistically-proportioned models look weird... it's not the models at all, it's the animations. They're still so robotic that they look weird when the character aren't all midget Popeye bobbleheads.

Hm. If only there were a way to make the character animations more lifelike.

Honestly, I disagree. The super-deformed sprite-ish look was cool to see in FF9, but only because it hearkened back to the good ol' days. A dose of nostalgia is nice, but I'd rather see the series focus on moving forward.

Some decent re-arrangements of the original music would be awesome. The actual original music is too midi-ish to really fit in with any sort of remake, if and when they go that route.

The super-deformed look was terrible for FF7, only excusable because of the time. The graphics in FF7 only looked good inside battle; even back then, the polygon bobbleheads were pretty ugly, and stuck out too much against the pre-rendered backgrounds.
