  • Superb

  • the ship's angle seems quite wrong to me... it looks like it is being dragged or pulled and the pitch is incorrect for a straight lined course. but the FX are very nice.

  • @LauxRO yeah, straight lined course, that's what matters in sci-fi

  • @euanlovenacho what do you understand by straight lined course? what i meant with that was: when a starship is "flying" in a direct, straight line, it always (as far as i've seen) points its most forward part to its destination. in this clip, the Enterprise does not. that's what bother me. it feels like the "nose" of the saucer is pointed somewhere else than where she is going.

  • @LauxRO

I noticed that too. But, I got to work with what I've got.

  • @CAPCBMERRITT In the original Trek, the ship did the same thing, where it seemed to jerk around at weird angles..But you gotta keep in mind something-Technically, we are viewing the ship through a camera lens, so itc ould be argued that it's the camera making those banking motions and odd maneuvers, not the ship itself..The ship in outer space would not naturally move this way...

  • @LauxRO There's also no sound in outer space, so the weapons are silent...Its realism, but would that make a good TV show? :P

  • Cool...
