@batmancollegestudent In the show, they named all the Projects after Greek mythological figures. The title being Prometheus was just a coincidence and I highly doubt it had anything to do with the Batman villain.

All I know is they started to run out of ideas I mean i loved the show but some of the writing was ridiculous especially how they wrote for Darkside. In terms of end credits music, season 6-10 were stinkers, while 1-2 were good, but 3-5 were absolutely fantastic - I wish I could make it into a ringtone
Season 10 > Season 3 = Season 7 > Season 4 > Season 9 > Season 2 > Season 6 > Season 1 > Season 8 > Season 5. My personal list. Everyone I know in real life considered season 7 the best season until season 10. Season 6 was awesome on paper but in terms of execution they didn't nail it. I like seeing what Clark is actually like on the inside, not just "man of steel." I think season 7 was AMAZING but season 8 was the worst, season nine was pretty good, but 10 was an amazing comback I think.

You need to get out more. Most fans HATE S7, and for good reason! No one liked seeing Clark Kent act like a bum, and whine over Lana. Clark didn't do sh!t in S7. He also was horrible in Seasons 5 and 6.

Season 5 and season 6 felt like filler seasons despite the big overarching plots going on. The ONLY thing wrong with season 7 besides the short length (due to the strike) was Lana's character FINALLY COMPLETELY being irrelevant and bringing down the ENTIRE show. That started happening since the middle of season 3 and especially in S5&6 .

The one thing I will hate that Season for, and which isn't justified, is the villain being Doomsday. It was stupid, and the final battle between it and Clark just sucked.

They handled Braniac horribly. Zod's intro was great but he was only in the finale ep for season 5. Nothing else really happened all season and it felt like boring filler. Season 8 only goofed on Doomsday. Season 1 doesn't count since it was the beginning but that was definitely the weakest season if you count it.

Clear signs of the power struggle between Gough-Millar, the original creators who made the more "Smallville" show and the new producers who ran things from Season 8 as a more "Superman" show.

1) Losing Rosenbaum
2) Not ending "Clana" fast enough (aka, getting rid of Lana) and giving "Clois" more development time
3) Adding Justin Hartley to the main cast
4) Too many story lines in Season 8
5) Not killing off Chloe
6) Terrible writing for the Finale.
