thanks for the compliment - the original score does not have a printed figured bass, only the descending tetrachord is given ;-))....

to several questions, did reach us:

- yes, it´s one point stereo (with the two front microphones of the ZOOM H2),

- there was no mastering (only cutting, and the the applause was reduced to 25%)

- the theorbo played with 2/3 power only (no nails, no metal in the strings)

- the speed of playing was adjusted to the accoustic of this small church (check the first bars, a theorbo is more "percussive" as a guitar or baroque lute, nearly all energy is radiated out within some millisec.)

1. caution, Ciaconas (and other ostinato pieces) make you addicted to ;-)) ...

2. as written in our homepage (see there also the contents of the CD`s), we allow any private use of our music, for ringtones, waiting music, weddings, taking a shower ...

as you do no start to sell the stuff commercially ;-)) .

3. CD´are sent worldwide in bubble-wrap cardboard airmail letters (no jewelcases, but cover and content sheet included) by worldwide airmail letter for 6,50 EUR + 5 EUR for each CD (4 different CD´s possible). the sound quality is much better than you ever can have at youtube.

4. we have rather (wild) "natural garden". mowing starts (by hand/scythe//guadana!!) as late as in the middle of june, to let work the leaf of the bulb flowers....

für den milden Kommentar. Dorothea spielt aus der Geigenstimme in D, also neun Töne tiefer (in C-Dur). Beim nächsten Konzert spielen wir das Stück sicher noch besser, aber die Akkustik in dieser Kirche war sehr inspirierend.

Inzwischen findest Du hier auch die ersten Solostücke mit der kleinen Theorbe.....

thank you for the comment. as bloody beginner i`m pretty far away from any perfection, but masterpieces as this one are a great motivation (up to getting addicted to ostinato music as Chaconnes).
